What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files saved on your computer. They allow a website to save information about your preferences between visits to the site.
On this site, we don't save any cookies with your personal information unless we ask you first and get your permission. You can always change your mind later and remove the cookies.

What are session cookies?
As well as normal cookies, which are saved on your computer, we use something called session cookies. These aren't saved on your computer and only last for as long as you have your browser open - as soon as you close your browser, they're gone.
We use these widely on the site so that we can keep track of things - for example, to know whether or not you've logged on. Because they're not saved on your computer, we don't ask you about these. Like normal cookies, they can't be shared between sites.
